Explore Faith
Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are visiting church for the first time, or are simply curious — you are welcome here. No pressure. Just honest answers about the Christian faith.
The essentials of the Christian faith, shared plainly.
We are a Bible-believing church in the evangelical tradition. These truths shape everything we teach, pray, and live together.
We believe in one eternal God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who created all things and loves every person He made.
Jesus is fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers forgiveness and new life to all who trust Him.
The Spirit of God lives in every believer, giving wisdom, comfort, and power to follow Jesus and serve others.
Every human being is made in God's image and deeply loved — yet we all need God's grace because sin separates us from Him.
The church is God's family — not a building, but people gathered around Jesus, worshiping together and caring for one another.
Everything we do rests on one person.
Delha is built on Jesus Christ — not tradition for its own sake, not culture, not politics. He is our foundation, our hope, and the reason we gather every Sunday. We hold to the historic Christian faith confessed by believers across centuries and nations.
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
The Bible is our authority and guide.
We believe the Bible is God's Word — inspired, trustworthy, and alive. It is not a book of rules to earn God's love, but a story of God's love reaching us. We teach it clearly in Farsi and English, and invite everyone to read it for themselves.
The Scriptures were written by people, carried along by the Holy Spirit, to reveal who God is and how we can know Him.
We measure every teaching, tradition, and decision against the Bible — not the other way around.
God still speaks through His Word. Reading Scripture is how we hear His voice and grow in faith.
The good news at the heart of Christianity.
Salvation is not something we earn — it is a gift received through faith in Jesus. Here is the message we proclaim, in four simple truths:
God created you with purpose and loves you without conditions. He wants a real relationship with you.
We have all turned away from God in our own ways. That brokenness creates a gap no human effort can close.
Jesus died in our place and rose again. Through Him, we can be forgiven, restored, and welcomed into God's family.
Turn to Jesus, trust Him, and receive His grace. You do not need to have everything figured out — just an open heart.
Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart and change my life. Amen.
If you prayed this, we would love to hear from you — you are not alone.
How we gather to honor God together.
Worship at Delha is sincere, not performative. We sing, pray, read Scripture, and listen to teaching — all to fix our hearts on Jesus and encourage one another.
We meet every Sunday at 11 AM for our main worship service — a time of praise, prayer, and Bible teaching.
We sing worship songs in Farsi and English — ancient hymns and contemporary praise that help us express love for God together.
We pray for one another, for our city, and for the world. Prayer is how we bring our joys and burdens before God as a family.
Our services welcome both languages. Whether you grew up with Persian hymns or are learning faith in a new tongue, you belong.
Faith was never meant to be lived alone.
Following Jesus happens in relationship — with God and with His people. Whether you are a new believer or have walked with Christ for years, here are natural next steps in our church family.
Take a Next Step
Come visit on a Sunday, read the Bible online, or send us a prayer request. We would be honored to walk with you.
